Rebekah + Stephen’s Larchfield Estate Wedding

Tell us all about you! What do you do? How do you spend your free time? What's important in life?
Rebekah is a Beauty Therapist, and Stephen is a Site Manager in the construction industry. We enjoy hiking together, have done all of the Mourne mountains and a few others throughout Northern Ireland and Ireland. Stephen has even hike kilimanjaro. Stephen's loves cycling in his spare time and we both have a love for music. Rebekah has studied music theatre from the age of 6. We have 2 dogs named Bella and Polly so we love to spend alot of our free time going on long walks with them or heading to the beach. Our family's are extremely important to us, and it is important to make time for eachother.
Why did you decide to capture your Larchfield Estate wedding on video?
To us, the video was one of the most important parts so was definitely a no brainer. The idea of capturing all of the special people and special moments of the day is very heart warming. Also in years to come we will be able to look back on such a special day and see it all unfold again.
Why did you choose Amber Tree Filmhouse to film your wedding?
Your work stood out to us the most, we love how you set out a video, capturing all the speeches and overlapping it all with moments through the day. We feel the video you create shows all the heartfelt emotion. It's exactly what we are after!
Tell me all about the proposal! Spare no detail, I want to hear it all!
Stephen went with his mum and picked the ring for Rebekah. After waiting a few months he snuck Rebekah's dad into the back of a van to ask permission and also to give her dad a look at the ring. Thankfully he said yes. A few weeks later we went hiking up to Blue Lough, and we had brought our dogs Bella and Polly. We brought our tripod to get a few family photos up the mountains. So while we were getting set up, Stephen popped a coat on which was strange as it was a good day! After setting the camera to take a video ( which Rebekah was unaware of) Stephen then proceeded to get down on one knee whilst looking through the pockets of the coat. Rebekah burst out laughing and told him to get up as she thought he was joking as he is forever doing pranks, the colour drained from Stephen when he thought things weren't going as planned. After a few moments, the ring appeared and Rebekah was in complete shock, she wasn't expecting it at all! Rebekah almost forgot to say yes she was in that much shock!
Why did you choose Larchfield Estate as your venue? What made it special to you?
We chose Larchfield as it is such a chilled out venue, we love that Larchfield really gives us that opportunity to make the day exactly how we would like it. We fell in love with it after the first visit and it was the only venue we went to view. Larchfield gives us that country and rustic feel we were after.
