There's always something really special and intimate about weddings in the city. And when you take a couple who are as great as Sheila and David and throw in the fact that it's being held right beside the Botanic Gardens in Belfast then you just know you're on to a winner!

On 2nd July 2016 Sheila and David tied the knot close to their home in Carryduff, a few miles outside Belfast. The weather was very changeable the whole day but actually made for some pretty dramatic photos with the rain threatening to come back at any time! The church was beautifully lit with natural light pouring down through a massive glass ceiling. I think it's fair to say that these were some of the best lighting conditions we could've wished for on a day like this!

Once the wedding ceremony was over, all the guests headed round to the reception at Deane's at Queens. Just across the road from the Botanic Gardens! This was going to provide an amazing backdrop for the photoshoot. Honestly, nothing beats having a location as good as this for wedding photographs in the city!

Sheila and David, thank you so much for letting me be part of your special day! I hope you guys have an amazing adventure together!
