It honestly doesn't feel like it was all that long ago when I first met Lauren and Adam when they let me use them as some of my first ever practice victims for pre-wedding photography. And in actual fact it wasn't that long at all! I first met them in April and only a few weeks before their wedding at Larchfield Estate on the 16th December did they contact me and asked for me to film their big day! Of course I accepted seeing as they were such an incredible couple to work with from the previous shoot!
Being in the wedding industry can be hard work sometimes. Especially if you're a photographer or cinematographer! You've only ever got one chance to make sure that precious memories are captured forever. So when we set out to film Susanne and Karl's wedding at the Killyhevlin Hotel on an incredibly foggy November day we were kind of worried that the weather was going to work against us and force everyone inside with its freezing touch.
Luckily though the fog actually worked to our advantage and gave us some incredible soft light and helped us create some incredible imagery for the big day! It always goes to show though that not everything is always going to go to plan!
Did you know we absolutely LOVE to shoot weddings at Larchfield Estate? Don't worry if you didn't know because we only just found out recently as well! On the 17th October we were lucky enough to be a part of Gillian and Stuarts big day at Larchfield Estate, the first time we'd ever been there, and honestly we fell in love with the venue as much as we did with this incredible couple!
There's always something really special and intimate about weddings in the city. And when you take a couple who are as great as Sheila and David and throw in the fact that it's being held right beside the Botanic Gardens in Belfast then you just know you're on to a winner!
It's not every day we get to shoot an engagement session so close to home. So we were thrilled when Lauren and Adam asked us along to shoot their pre-wedding session at Crawfordsburn Country Park.
